Honda Talon Gauge Relocation Kit installation guide. Read through the full guide before beginning, then work through each step in order.

BEFORE YOU START

WHAT YOU'LL NEED.

Park your Talon on a level surface, switch the engine off, and keep the factory hardware organized as you remove it.

INSTALLATION / 01–10

STEP BY STEP.

ACCESS

REMOVE THE HOOD

Remove the clips or fasteners securing the hood. Carefully lift the hood off and set it aside in a safe location.

ACCESS

REMOVE THE REAR HOOD

Remove the clips or fasteners securing the rear hood, then carefully lift it off and set it aside.

FACTORY GAUGE

REMOVE THE GAUGE CLUSTER

Gently pull the gauge cluster away from the center console. Take care around the wiring and disconnect the connector from the back of the cluster.

FACTORY GAUGE

SEPARATE THE METER COVER

Carefully detach the gauge cluster from its original meter cover.

FILLER PLATE

INSTALL THE FILLER PLATE

Align the supplied filler plate with the opening in the meter cover and secure it using the three included M4 screws.

NEW LOCATION

MOUNT THE GAUGE HOUSING

Position the gauge housing on the steering column and secure it using the fastener from the top cover of the steering column.

LIVE VALVE EQUIPPED?

Remove the Live Valve module from the dash. Connect the six-inch Live Valve cord, clip the module into the gauge housing, and connect it to the harness before screwing the gauge cluster into place.

HARNESS

ROUTE THE EXTENSION

Feed the female end of the plug-and-play cord through the back of the steering column and into the rear opening of the gauge housing.

GAUGE

CONNECT & SECURE THE CLUSTER

Reconnect the gauge cluster to the plug-and-play cord, then secure the cluster into the new housing using the three original gauge screws.

HARNESS

CONNECT TO THE FACTORY HARNESS

Plug the male end of the extension cord into the corresponding factory connector and confirm the connection is fully seated.

FINISH

CHECK IT. REASSEMBLE. RIDE.

Double-check every connection and fastener. Reinstall the rear hood and main hood, start your Talon, and verify the gauge operates correctly.
